Job Fairs & Career Expos – Goodwill Works!
Twelve of Hawai’i’s top graffiti writers competed in the Estria Invitational Graffiti Battle at the Honolulu Academy of Arts at Linekona Art Center, 1111 Victoria St. Honolulu, on Saturday September 3, 2011. This international graffiti battle was a competition that encouraged graffiti writers to communicate social justice issues and empower communities through the messages conveyed in their work. In conjunction with the battle, local arts organization 808 Urban has curated over twenty educational activities, workshops and vendor booths based in the urban arts, sustainability and traditional Hawaiian culture, as well as a lineup of music and performances throughout that day.
